THERE ARE 2 MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS THIS YEAR
|
1 annual dues at $80 (with a volunteer requirement) and
2 $120 (no volunteer requirement).
Dues fund our social events, support landscaping of the islands throughout the neighborhood, and give back to our community. Our hope this year is to make the GHGC a fun filled environment for all women in the neighborhood regardless of phase of life.

GARDEN CLUB UPDATES FOR THE NEW YEAR

The Garden Club Membership Drive will run until September 15 this year. Please remember to renew your membership and encourage new neighbors to sign up – remind them that no gardening is required.  gardenhillsgardenclub.com

The GC mailing list will be pulled for the new year on September 15th. If you signed up in the spring timeframe, please reply to this email and we will carry over your membership.

Save the Date! The New Member party (rebranded as the Garden Club Fall Kickoff party!) will be held on Wednesday, September 13th from 7-9pm at Mandy Turchin’s house. Come enjoy wine, cheese and a chocolate fountain while catching up from the summer.

Please take two mins to complete the survey here. We would love to find out more about our members and how to get them engaged. Also, there are several new positions on the board this year – descriptions are below and we hope you will consider volunteering. It is a great, low commitment way to become more involved in the neighborhood.

- Tween Events Chair – plan 1-2 events or activities at established children’s events (ICS, Halloween, Easter, etc.) that focus on the 8-12 age group
|
- Communications Chair – manage social media posts and create the monthly Grapevine newsletter
|
- Fundraising Chair – manage sponsorships for the ICS, etc.
|
- Community Involvement Chair- research and manage donation opportunities
|
- Veteran Adult Events Chair – plan events for long time GH residents!
|
- “Day of” Helpers Committee- if you aren’t able to plan events, but are able to help out day of – so helpful for party set up, etc.!
|
- President Elect – shadow the president for the 23/24 year to prepare for the 24/25 year!
